I was born in Torrance, CA.

I enjoy playing my guitar or any instrument. I love music and also enjoy playing basketball.

I decided to become a model once I got hired at A&F.

My first test shoot was through a friend that does photography. I posted those pictures on Model Mayhem, I met other photographers, and then I was introduced to Michael Maddox by Ty of Foto-One Nineteen.

The best thing about modeling so far is all the people I’ve met along the way.

Modeling market for black models

Slowly, but surely, there’s hope for everything. If you believe in yourself and you work hard, anything is possible.

Working with photographers: posed naked already?

I like it most when a photographer is able to help with the shoot–when he/she is able to make it a bit easier and comfortable. I do not have any special preparation for certain shoots–just the usual ab workouts and push-ups. Yes, I have posed naked before.

Women still ruling this business?

I think it depends on what agency you are with regarding exposure. I still believe that women rule the fashion world.

The catwalks experiences

I have no experience in catwalks and have yet to work with any fashion designers, but I’m managed by one of the top runway instructors in the world, Michael Maddox, so I’m quite sure he’ll get me ready before I fly out to Miami.

A fashionista?

No, I’m not a fashionista. I like to wear a white tee, jeans, and chucks when I’m not working.
